I did a haul last week at Sephora and Nordstrom, both stores are dangerous for the wallet but oh so fun. I had four items on my shopping list and as usual, ended up with more than I intended. These days I prefer to shop online more than in store because it’s easier, more convenient and saves time, but every now and then it’s fun to go see things in person. From Nordstrom at MAC I picked up the Viva Glam Miley Cyrus II Lipglass. The first one from last year really surprised me – I fell in love with it even though it’s packed with lots of sparkle. Last year’s (which is still available) was a sparkling hot sheer pink (swatched here). This year’s version is a bright sheer coral that’s also sparkly but super pretty. I don’t usually like high-sparkle glosses but I highly recommend checking out both. I also picked up a Cremesheen Pearl Lipstick in Koi Coral for a friend. Nov 24, 2016 - Happy Friday everyone! In the “what would you like to see” survey posted a few giveaways ago, an overwhelming number of you requested I do more haul posts. I tend to buy things in little bits here and there – with free shipping or affordable rush shipping, it’s easy to place several orders as I think about things rather than do a larger one-time haul. Sometimes I’ll see something in store and decide to wait and think about it and then a few days later I decide to buy it. July was a very pricey and spendy month due to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I already did two haul posts on my picks (here and here) – since it only happens once a year and there were so many good exclusives/value sets I could justify the extra haul. I also found a lot of little things at Sephora so I’ve combined my recent picks into a haul post. When you are in the US, it is an unwritten rule that you have to shop till you drop. I remember going mental the first time I visited NYC and DC previous year, because I was just too excited to see all the fashion and beauty brands sold in actual stores, instead of online. Now that I'm living in the States, I have unlimited access to any of my favorite stores - and that is, mildly put, quite dangerous. There is just something about shopping in the US that just does not compare to any other place. One of my favorite places to empty my bank account at is the US Sephora. We do not have a Sephora in the Netherlands to begin with, but even the European Sephora does not have all the amazing brands that the US Sephora does have. I went a little mad, I am not gonna lie.
