This challenging position offers the opportunity to work with leading edge sensor technologies embedded in smartphones, automotive, IOT, smartwatches as well as other consumer electronics devices. Job activities span the whole product life cycle from early R&amp;D to commercial deployment. The successful candidate will work with systems, software, and integration/test engineers in the QCT sensors group</p><p></p><p><b>Job responsibilities will include:</b></p><ul><li>Designing, developing and testing of applications on mobile, compute and multiple flavours of devices and operating systems</li><li>Architecting, coding and testing tools with UI &amp; compatible with Windows and Linux platforms, using popular languages like Python, C&#43;&#43;, Java, .net, C#</li><li>Supporting other software and test teams with deployment of sensors solutions on devices</li><li>Development on prototypes reference platforms that cover mobile devices, watches, hearables, etc.</li><li>Supporting bench marking of popular features across device types</li><li>Documentation of design, tests, tool usage guides</li><li>Working with global systems and software teams</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The position is technology focused and involves participation in a broad range of sensors systems engineering activities within the Sensors Technologies group</b></p><p></p><p><u><b>What are we looking for?</b></u></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>2&#43; years of software development experience in software applications and tools. Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP).</li><li>Familiar with C&#43;&#43; as its main programming language, ideally in new modern C&#43;&#43; standards (C&#43;&#43;17/20) and needs to be familiar with unit testing and system testing using modern testing frameworks like Google Test.</li><li>Comfortable in development of system applications and tools in C&#43;&#43;, both internal and customer oriented.
