This beautiful and timeless vintage and very long Chanel sautoir necklace is fashioned from gold plated base metal with bezel-set multi faceted crystals and baroque faux pearls. There are approximately sixty round crystals and twelve faux pearls. Each crystal has a diameter of approximately 0.5” and the necklace is 58"

Authentic, preowned, vintage Chanel sautoir style necklace, released in 1981. Made from gold metal, it features round faceted crystals and baroque-style faux pearls. No closure, it is designed to slip over ones head, and can be doubled or knotted for different looks! Tagged CHANEL and 1981. Necklace drop is approximately 28in (and total length is appx 56in). Authenticated by REAL AUTHENTICATION (and a copy of the COA will be included with purchase). Preowned/vintage with DEFINITE signs of prior use and wear: scratching, wear, and some discoloration to gold metal and crystals, with SIGNIFICANT peeling/color loss to the faux pearls (see all photos and photo 7 close up for examples). If we were keeping this set, we'd have the faux pearls re-coated and the metal and crystals polished by Chanel - or a trusted jeweler. Please note that our price reflects the condition.
